Young and daring: top 7 gifted designers

Year after year, more and more young and interesting designers turn up. Their outfits are worn by celebrities and adored by fashion influencers. In our selection there are7 rising fashion stars: from the designer of Georgian origin David Koma to the American brand Khaite, which brought fashion back to knitwear and came up with a new concept of "bradigan". All brands are presented in the boutiques of the Vremena Goda galleries.

David Koma

The founder of the Fashion House, David Koma, defines his brand as "a British brand created by a designer with Georgian roots who spent an important part of his life in St. Petersburg." From 2014 to 2017, the designer functioned as Creative Director for Thierry Mugler. His sculptural dresses, feminine and modern silhouettes made David Koma’s style recognizable. World-famous celebrities like Beyonce or Jennifer Lopez tend to turn to the designer for outfits for events. You can try the brand's clothes on at Boutique No.7

Nanushka

It’s a young Hungarian brand that within just five years has grown into an international brand with its own boutiques. Nanushka was founded by Sandra Sandor, a graduate of the London College of Fashion, and her childhood nickname happened to become the name of the brand. The brand adheres to the philosophy of sustainable fashion: famous jackets are made of eco-leather; dresses are made of eco-viscose and jumpers are made of recycled cashmere. Area

The New York brand Area was founded by Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panschik in 2014. The brand creates luxury outfits of complex cuts with vibrant decorations like Swarovski crystals. Recently, the designers have launched a couture line, which immediately won the hearts. Cardi B for a shoot in the Interview magazine tried on a dress from the collection. And in the FW'20 / 21 season, the brand, in collaboration with designer and architect Harry Nuriyev, released shining chair-shaped bags that conquered social media. The British brand, founded by Marco Capaldo and Federica Cavenati, focuses on joyous collections. The models combine minimalistic cut with bright vibrant decor: sequins, feathers, crystals, ties, bows and prints. The brand creates outfits great for red carpets, as well as fashion items perfect for a fancy party. Designers are convinced that their outfits give a woman a particular power- whether it's a leather mini or a floor-length feather dress. You can try on the brand's products at Boutique No.7

Cecilie Bahnsen

The brand was founded by designer Cecile Bansen in Copenhagen in 2017. The DNA of the fashion brand involves romantic fashion items with an emphasis on pure colors - black and white. The basis of the women's line is made up of baby doll silhouette dresses, tops with puff sleeves, sundresses with ruffles as well as voluminous skirts. Cecilie Bahnsen's garments are decorated with draperies, hand embroidery and a combination of various textures. Things are optimal for both casual and evening outings. Alexandre Vauthier

The French brand Alexandre Vauthier started in 2008. Alexandre Vautier creates outfits in the spirit of the 80s: with accent shoulders, midi lengths made of metallic or textured fabrics. The designer loves to involve theatrical elements, draperies, revealing cuts and necklines. It’s an American brand founded in 2016 by Parsons School of Design alumnus Katherine Holstein and entrepreneur Vanessa Train. Khaite is a symbol of comfort, minimalism and timeless wardrobe. Knitwear, highly relevant this season, is the brand trademark. In addition, Khaite is famous for the perfect fit jeans and romantic gowns.
