On June 10th 2019, CHANEL unveiled its newly renovated boutique in Vremena Goda shopping mall, one of the most prestigious shopping locations in Moscow. Since first setting foot there in 2008, CHANEL reaffirms its presence by expanding the two-story boutique – spanning 560 square meters – to include all the latest CHANEL creations, Ready-to-Wear, bags, shoes, eyewear and accessories as well as a selection of Fine Jewelry and Watches.
Designed by renowned New York based architect Peter Marino, who once again interprets the House’s aesthetic codes which perfectly echo the Parisian elegance and timeless modernity dear to CHANEL. Drawing inspiration from Mademoiselle Chanel's apartment, the harmonious combination of materials of soft gold metal, marble, glass and lacquer with luxurious rich textures of handmade pearlescent wall finishes, silk and woven wool carpeting and iconic tweed upholstery, perfectly embodies intimacy and sophistication in each room.
Presented in an environment of bespoke furnishings, CHANEL’s emblematic colour palette of black, white and gold is used throughout the space amongst specially-commissioned art pieces by artists Peter Dayton and Shelter Serra, continuing the House’s longstanding commitment to the arts, as championed by Mademoiselle Chanel in her time.
Upon entering the boutique, clients are plunged into the accessories world, handbags, small leather goods, costume jewellery and eyewear collections are presented in a unique layout. To the left, a selection of exceptional CHANEL Fine Jewelry and time pieces is presented side by side against a handmade golden wall finishing. Further along, visitors can discover a shoe display which leads the way to two cosy salons dedicated entirely to Ready-to-Wear. Here, the intimacy is enhanced by a fire place and an exquisite rock crystal lighting by Goossens, clients can linger on tweed sofas alongside two lavish fittings rooms. The inviting ambience extends equally to the first floor where a spacious VIP salon, illuminated by a beautiful chandelier, is accessible exclusively for fittings, offering clients the ultimate luxury experience.
