Altmans Gallery specializes in lithography and etching. This includes world classics, works of old masters, modernists, post-war and modern painters, illustrators, sculptors, pottery and porcelain artists. In the gallery, you will find the greatest artists of past and present – Matisse, Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Warhol. We showcase only original copies with clear provenance and history.
Besides gravures by the leading artists of 20th century, the new gallery’s branch also presents works of many Russian and Western artists of 21st century, namely Michel Soubeyrand, Takashi Murakami, Jacob Agam, Laurence Jenkell, Oleg Tatarintsev, Oleg Dow, Sergey Geta, and Konstantin Batynkov.
To mark the opening of a new branch, a charity auction is to be held in the gallery. Three items will be sold: a silkscreen by Takashi Murakami, and two lithographies by Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali. Starting prices of items will be 60% lower than the usual cost of works in the gallery. All funds raised will be transferred to “Dom s Mayakom” and “Liniya Zhizni” charity funds.
