The 1000 Soldiers pen and stand by S.T. Dupont is a miniature copy of the Terracotta Army discovered in the Chinese city of Xi'an in 1974. The army was made up of over 8,000 clay figures meant to defend China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, in the afterlife. As in the original, each warrior in S.T. Dupont'st patinated bronze version is unique — there are no duplicate faces, armor, or positions.
