New Balance 997H running shoes combine modern technology and unique style. The new design utilizes GCEVA construction and is complemented by branding on the tongue and suede and leather elements. Textile inserts provide optimal ventilation, and the lightweight C-Cap sole with a three-layer design and ENCAP cushioning system guarantee the highest level of comfort. The XAR-1000 carbon insert outsole provides improved grip. For secure fixation of the foot, the model is equipped with a stepped side lacing and Hytrel Strap thermoplastic elements. First released in 1991, 997 running shoes have not only formed a completely new aesthetics of the new Balance 99X line, but also set a new trend in the world of sports shoes, becoming the embodiment of the spirit of the ‘90s. This season, the iconic design returns in a new, even more progressive and technological version.
