Cartier becomes a partner and general sponsor of the Venice Biennale aiming to support contemporary cinema.
Beginning this year, the Venice Film Festival together with Cartier will acknowledge outstanding filmmakers having made special contributions to the contemporary cinema with a special award, Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker.
Collaboration with one of the major international cultural venues is a continuation of the long-term Cartier commitment for the preservation of the cultural heritage as well as contemporary art support.
The 78th Venice Film Festival takes place from 1 to 11 September 2021.
