The Breguet Jewelry House presents a new watch model Reine de Naples 8938. The watch feature a sparkling dial with diamonds inlaid. The Reine de Naples 8938 is available in white or rose gold with a blue or orange strap, respectively.
The Reine de Naples 8938 hour scale is made of natural white pearl and is offset to the 6 o'clock position. Thin hands with signature moon-shaped tips move easily between traditional digital markers. In addition to the dial, the incrustation decorates a flange, bezel and watch ear, which resembles a diamond in a round cut.
The crown is also noteworthy, it is adorned with a diamond in a rare graceful briolette cut. The total weight of the diamonds in this model is over three carats.
Inside the splendid case of the new Reine de Naples there is a modern self-winding mechanical movement, equipped with an anchor escapement and a balance spring made of silicium. The platinum rotor winding the spring is adorned with a miniature guilloche.
For the first time, inlaid with precious stones was applied in watchmaking more than five hundred years ago and since then it has been one of the most fancied decoration techniques. The craftsman must master exceptional professional skills, accuracy and diligence. Unlike traditional concentric inlay, when decorating watches in the "snow" technique, stones of different diameters with an almost invisible setting are used. As a result, the entire surface of the dial appears to be completely covered with sparkling diamonds.
